Mata Sahib Kaur Khalsa College was established in 2006 and started under the patronage of Jathedar Sardar Gurcharn Singh Tohra. The Institution run by the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Commitee, Sri Amritsar Sahib (S.G.P.C) , a supreme religious authority of the Sikhs.Affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh.The college is named after the mother of Khalsa Panth, Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. The main endeavour behind was to inculcate basic as well as value education to the girl students of this otherwise backward region of the prosperous state. The campus covers an area of about 10 acres of land, well equipped laboratories and a suitable stadium for various games. We promise every student to give them better education as well as influential personality. Along with bookish knowledge we are including moral values also with the help of Gurmat Sangeet and Gurmat studies for developing social values and spirit of co-operation . College has spacious and well organized Library which provides amicable environment to the students for self study. College has also hostel facility which gives them homely atmosphere. Transport facility is also provided by college and hygienic canteen which provides delicious eatables to the students. It has well experienced and qualified staff which is providing them updated knowledge, using modern teaching methodology under the supervision of Principal Prof. Rajwinder Kaur.Her pleasing and impressive personality inspires students as well as teachers to work hard. Summing up, college is a tree which is giving golden apples to society.
